Roger, there’s only room in this band for one hysterical queen. That’s what Queen frontman Freddie Mercury (Rami Malek) tells drummer Roger Taylor (Ben Hardy, “X-Men: Apocalypse”) when he gets fed up recording the umpteenth “Galileo” for the band’s iconic ballad Bohemian Rhapsody” in a new trailer for the musical biopic of the same name. Though Mercury’s attitude is on full display in all of its mustachioed glory, his bandmates get more attention in this trailer than they did in the first one that was released back in May. We see guitarist Brian May (Gwilym Lee, “Midsomer Murders”) debuting the stomp-stomp-clap percussion of “We Will Rock You” for the band, explaining that he wants to “give the audience a song they can perform. (And they still do, 40 years later, at sporting events around the world.).It’s that rhythm, mashed up with the operatic vocals of “Bohemian Rhapsody” that drive the new trailer, which takes the band from its long-haired early days through their memorable 1985 Live Aid performance. The trailer also foreshadows Mercury’s 1987 AIDS diagnosis, made at a time when testing positive for HIV was a death sentence. What if I don’t have time?” he asks, as he tries to accomplish as much as he can with what little he has left. (He died in 1991 at age 45, four years after testing positive.).”You’re a legend,” his bandmates tell him as he begins to contemplate his fate. “We’re all legends,” Mercury corrects them. .He was right.”Bohemian Rhapsody” hits theaters Nov.
