Music from “The Pilot.” A biopic about Gene Roddenberry, the creator of “Star Trek”

This music will play over a scene where Gene is flying his private airplane and brainstorming names for his new show, “Star Trek.” As he is flying, various titles that he is considering appear on the screen, like “Star Voyage,” “Space Trek,” etc. Halfway through the music, there is a nod to the original Trek theme.

The orchestra was recorded at the Eastwood Scoring Stage at Warner Brothers. The music was written, orchestrated and conducted by Erik Desiderio. Erik is also playing bass and theremin.
